KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA announced the 2026 Softball All-American Team, Player and Pitcher of the Year on Tuesday and Benedictine Softball was represented on the team.
Bailey Selvage was named a Second Team All-American as an at-large selection for her efforts inside the circle this season. According to the NAIA, at-large selections are players who the committee determined were deserving of being named to either the first or second team outside of earning a spot on either team in their position.
Selvage posted a 1.75 ERA over 180 innings this season while going 17-10 inside the circle for the Ravens. She added 220 strikeouts with 5 shutouts and 2 saves in 35 appearances. She ranked seventh in the NAIA in strikeouts per game (8.56) and sixth in total strikeouts.
The Ravens posted an overall record of 34-20 this season while earning the program's second trip into the NAIA postseason. Selvage set a new single-season record for strikeouts while becoming the program's all-time leader in career strikeouts with 613. She also set a new single-season record with 22 complete games while her 28 starts matches her own record of 28 set last season.
