OVERLAND PARK – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced the 2026 All-Softball Team on Thursday and Benedictine earned 6 All-Heart selections.

Bailey Selvage was named the Heart Pitcher of the Year along with first-team All-Heart. Rhiannon Martin joined Selvage on the first team. Amanda Waymire and Alena Velilla were named to the second-team. Megan Forsman and Lauren Gaitley were named honorable mention.

Selvage posted a 15-7 record over 23 starts and 147 innings during the regular season. She finished the regular season with a 1.48 ERA and 183 strikeouts with an opponent batting average of .188.

Martin was the Ravens leading hitting through the end of the regular season with a .383 average and a .745 slugging percentage. She recorded 12 home runs, 13 doubles and 38 RBI in 48 games.

Waymire hit .351 in 48 games headed into the postseason with 26 RBI, 9 home runs and 9 doubles. Velilla hit .316 headed into the postseason in 48 games with 5 triples, 11 home runs and 16 doubles.

Forsman hit .336 in 47 regular-season games while Gaitley hit .356 in 48 games. 

Headed into the second day of the Heart Softball Championship Tournament, Martin and Velilla rank second and fourth in home runs in the Heart. Selvage leads the Heart with a 1.45 ERA, ranks third in wins, second in strikeouts and third in saves.

The Ravens take on NAIA-ranked, and top-seeded, Missouri Baptist University today at Noon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in the Semifinals of the Championship Bracket. The winner between the Ravens and Spartans moves into Championship Bracket final at 12 p.m. Saturday with the loser moving down to the Consolation Bracket and will play again today at 5:30 p.m.
