Men's Track takes third at annual Heart Indoor Track Championships

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Benedictine Men's Track & Field finished out the annual Heart Indoor Track & Field Championships with a strong second day to rally for a third-place finish.

The Ravens scored 102.5 points behind Heart Champion Park University with 174 points and Heart runner-up MNU with 174 points.

The Ravens earned 26 All-Heart selections with one conference championship. Owen Nolte won the 3,000 race walk in a time of 12:33.52, breaking his own meet record while affirming his NAIA A standard mark. Joshua Melendez finished in second place in the Mile and surpassed the previous meet record as well.

The top three finishers in each event will be considered 2026 Heart Indoor Track & Field All-Conference athletes. 1st Place = First Team All-Conference, 2nd Place = Second Team All-Conference, 3rd Place = Third Team All-Conference, and fourth, fifth and sixth place finishers in each event will be considered 2025 Heart Indoor Track & Field Honorable Mention All-Conference.
