OVERLAND PARK – For the second time this season, Wren Van Cleave was recognized by the Heart of America Athletic Conference for her efforts on the floor for Benedictine Volleyball.

Van Cleave was named the Heart Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports, on Monday.

The Ravens posted a 3-0 mark on the week, with three conference wins to remain on the top of the conference leader board after five matches.

Van Cleave earned her second weekly honors after recording 135 assists across 12 sets. She averaged 11.25 assists per set and added 35 digs.

Van Cleave recorded 44 assists against Baker on Tuesday and followed that up with 50 assists in a five-set victory over Clarke on Friday and 41 assists in a sweep of Mount Mercy on Saturday.

For the season, she is averaging 10.67 assists per set with a total of 608 assists. She leads the Heart in both categories and ranks sixth in the NAIA in assists per set and ninth in total assists.

The Ravens host a pair of matches at home this week, before finishing off the week on the road. Tuesday night they close out non-conference play with a 7 p.m. match with Friends before returning to action on Friday hosting Graceland at 7. The travel to Peru State on Saturday to open up a three-match road swing.
