OVERLAND PARK – Kody Argaez became the second member of the Benedictine Men's Soccer program to earn weekly Heart of America Athletic Conference honors on Monday. 

Argaez was named the Heart Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, presented by WinWon. 

The Ravens posted a 1-0-1 with both matches on the road during the week. In a Tuesday win at Missouri Valley, Argaez scored twice while assisting on the third goal in a 3-1 win over the Vikings. He followed that up with the equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Clarke on Saturday.

Argaez now leads the team with 11 points (4 goals, 3 assists). He is currently ranked third in the Heart in points and his 3 assists are tied for third. He is also second in the Heart in total shots with 24.

Benedictine returns to Legacy Field at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a conference match against No. 21 Grand View University – the defending NAIA National Champions.
