(8) Men's Lacrosse set for Friday night showdown with (1) St. Ambrose

The No. 8-ranked Raven Men's Lacrosse team returns to Legacy Field on Friday night in a big KCAC meeting as they host No. 1-ranked St. Ambrose University.

Benedictine enters the game at 4-3 overall and 4-0 in the KCAC while St. Ambrose enters the game at 8-0 and 4-0 in the KCAC.

Friday night's match-up features two of the top-scoring programs in the KCAC this season with St. Ambrose scoring 98 goals in 7 games to Benedictine's 84 goals in 6 games. Both teams are tied for the top spot in goals per game at 14.

Individually, the game features three of the top five scorers in the KCAC. Brady Guck is ranked second with 23 goals for Benedictine, Michael Shakerin ranks fourth with 21 goals for St. Ambrose and Michael Hogan is fifth with 20 goals for Benedictine. 

Shakrin leads the KCAC in assists with 18 while Joseph Doyle is fourth with 12. 

Nolan Hayes leads the KCAC defensively in saves with 124 and save percentage at 69.0. He also ranks first in goals-against average at 6.88. Duncan Loud is ranked fifth in the KCAC in saves with 53 and is also fifth in goals-against average at 10.52.

St. Ambrose is ranked second in face-offs, winning 107 of 163 while Benedictine is ranked fourth in face-offs winning 86 of 159. Hunter Northway has won 71.6 percent of his face-offs for St. Ambrose while Joseph Bianchi has won 55.8 percent of his face-offs for Benedictine. 

Drew Doran leads the Ravens in caused turnovers with 8 while Carson Huerter has 7. Ben Blankenship leads the Fighting Bees with 10 caused turnovers while Shakerin and Hayden Latham have 9 each.
