OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Bailey Selvage earned her second Heart Softball Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday after throwing the second known perfect game in program history on Sunday.

Selvage started game one against Park inside the circle on Ravens Field and went the distance, earning a 2-0 complete-game win while matching her career-high with 14 strikeouts while facing a total of 21 batters.

On the season, she is now 12-6 with a 1.42 ERA over 118.2 innings pitched. She leads the Heart in ERA while her 154 strikeouts are ranked second. She ranks eighth in the NAIA in strikeouts.

Benedictine hits the road for a Tuesday doubleheader at Baker, followed by a Wednesday doubleheader at (17) Grand View on Wednesday before returning home on Friday and Saturday with a pair of doubleheaders against MNU and Peru State on Ravens Field.
