Women's Lacrosse sweeps weekly Heart honors for fourth straight week

OVERLAND PARK – No. 1 Benedictine Women's Lacrosse remained unbeaten on the year Saturday with their third win over a fellow NAIA-ranked opponent, 20-10, over No. 6 Kesier (Fla.)

For there efforts, Lorelei Siegel and Kaylen Moore have been recognized as the Heart Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, presented by TarkettSports.

For Siegel, the honors mark the fourth straight week she has been named the Offensive Player. For Moore, the honors are her third overall this season.

In the win over Keiser, Siegel finished with 6 goals and 2 assists offensively. Moore helped the Ravens get offensive possession, earning 13 draw controls, her second most of the season. She also added a caused turnover, and one ground ball while scoring 4 goals.

In 8 games, Siegel now ranks third in the NAIA in goals at 41 while she ranks third in points with 58. She also ranks second in shots with 79 and leads the NAIA in shots on goal with 66.

Through 8 games, Moore is the NAIA leader with 73 draw controls while ranking fourth in assists with 22. 

The Ravens play the return game with NCAA Div. II William Jewell College at 5 p.m. Wednesday before remaining on the road for two conferences games against UHSP in St. Louis on Saturday and Culver-Stockton on Sunday.
