Benedictine Softball head coach Paul Hunt has announced the elevation of Jenna Schwartzhoff to Associate Head Coach for the Ravens.
"I am excited to announce that Coach Schwartzhoff will be promoted to Associate Head Coach," Coach Hunt said. "Coach Schwartzhoff has proven her ability to be a high-level recruiter and has done a tremendous job developing our pitching staff. This is a big step for our program as we look to the future."
The Ravens posted an overall record of 33-22 in 2025 – the program's third 30-win season in the past 4 seasons – while finishing fourth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and third in the annual Heart Conference Tournament.
"I want to sincerely thank President Stephen Minnis, Athletic Director Charlie Gartenmayer, and Coach Hunt for trusting me with this incredible opportunity," Coach Schwartzhoff said. "The Raven Softball program is more than just a team — it's a family built on passion, dedication, and community support. We are truly blessed to have outstanding facilities that empower our athletes to reach their full potential. I am deeply grateful to Coach Hunt for his guidance and belief in me over these past four years. Our student-athletes carry big dreams and relentless determination, and I am inspired every day to help them chase those dreams and achieve greatness."
Coach Schwartzhoff joined the Raven Softball program in the summer of 2021 as a graduate assistant under Coach Hunt. After the 2023 season, she transitioned to a full-time assistant coach role, serving as the program's Recruiting Coordinator and pitching coach.
During her tenure, the Ravens achieved a record of 134-84. In 2024, the team finished second in the Heart of America Conference Tournament and earned a bid to the Opening Round of the National Tournament. Under Coach Schwartzhoff's leadership, two pitchers have been named Heart of America First Team All-Conference, and one pitcher earned NAIA All-American honors. Additionally, the Ravens have broken several school records, including single-season wins and single-season strikeouts.
Coach Schwartzhoff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and History at fellow Heart school Clarke University and holds a Master of Arts in School Leadership from Benedictine.
